I love discounts

2012-01-19 3:53 pm

I absolutely love getting discounts on things. My brother is incredible at getting discounts, truly unparalleled in fact. He is lucky because he is so tall that often his sizes are the ones that shops find hardest to shift and so he can often buy great clothes in the sales. I remember when he bought his first ever suit, it was an Alexander McQueen suit which was supposed to cost over £5000. My brother managed to buy the suit for just £700!! It is one of those suits that will never go out of fashion and simply makes the wearer look absolutely fantastic.

If you are also an absolute bargain hunter, use IWantOneOfThose discount codes to get price reductions on pretty much anything. I’ve already told my brother all about it and he is absolute psyched. I think it is basically part of human nature to love a bargain. My best bargain of 2011 was a gorgeous pair of boots that were down from £800 to just £110. Not bad at all!

Lego For Girls

2012-01-16 5:58 pm

The Lego Group has begun developing strategic initiatives that are aimed at girls, after accusations that Lego is just for boys, such as the Lego ninjago set. I think that the Lego Group will see their revenue increase in leaps and bounds after they introduce Lego that interests girls. After four years of careful research, design, and exhaustive testing, the Lego Group has developed Lego Friends, which is aimed at girls from age 5 and up. It was planned that Lego Friends would be released on December 26th in the United Kingdom, and after the Christmas holidays in the USA. This may seem a strange time to release it as it comes immediately after Christmas, but the reasoning behind it does make sense. The Lego Group reasons that if they introduce the new line of toys after the holidays, the big stores will be able to give the line a dedicated shelf space which it wouldn’t receive during the sales rush.

The Lego Group is confident that the line shall be a great success which is evident in the fact that the line consists of 23 different products which have £40 million invested in them. The CEO of Lego Group admitted: “This is the most significant strategic launch we’ve done in a decade”.

Berlin

Berlin is Germany’s capital as well as being one of the sixteen states in Germany. Berlin is Germany’s largest city, with a population of 3.45 million, and is the seventh most populated urban area existent in the European Union. Berlin is influenced by a very temperate seasonal climate as it is located in the European Plains, nowhere near to the coast. Berlin was the capital of the Kingdom of Prussia in the years spanning between 1701 and 1918. Berlin went on to be the capital of the German Empire from 1878 to 1918, of the Weimar Republic between 1919 and 1933, and of the Third Reich between 1933 and 1945.

Following World War Two, Berlin was split into East Berlin and West Berlin. East Berlin was the capital of East Germany. The Berlin wall ensured the split, the wall remaining in place physically and metaphorically. The wall did not come down until 1990, and German reunification, after which Berlin regained its status as Germany’s capital. I’m not too sure if there are any ISP’s in Berlin.

Gu10 led bulbs are the way to the future

2011-12-30 5:18 pm

Gu10 led bulbs are definitely among the finest ways of bringing light to your home or to your business environment. There are many different aspects of these bulbs that make switching to them such an easy decision to make and I shall name only a few. First of all, and what is most important in this day and age when every dollar that you spend, you might need further down the road, is that they are inexpensive to install and to replace.

And I am not just talking about the gu10 led bulbs themselves but also the sockets or mounts that they use. A friend of mine told me that it cost him less to replace all of his light mounts and introduce these new gu10 led bulbs than it would have to just replace the bulbs in his car lights. The second consideration, again one that has to do with your wallet and keeping as much money in it as you can, is that the gu10 led bulbs are among the most efficient lights in the world.

A conventional light bulb spends only a small fraction of electricity on making actual light while a huge portion of the energy goes out in the form of heat and everyone who has ever accidentally made contact with a regular light bulb knows that this is true. On the other hand gu10 led bulbs don’t heat up as much and they spend far less energy while producing far more light than the regular ones.

Putin and Russia's Growing Economy

2011-12-20 4:32 pm

The Human Rights Watch had some very interesting comments to make concerning Russia in the section devoted to the country in its January 2008 World Report. “As parliamentary and presidential elections in late 2007 and early 2008 approached, the administration headed by President Vladimir Putin cracked down on civil society and freedom of assembly. Reconstruction in Chechnya did not mask grave human rights abuses including torture, abductions, and unlawful detentions. International criticism of Russia’s human rights record remains muted, with the European Union failing to challenge Russia on its human rights record in a consistent and sustained manner”.

The economy under Putin made some serious gains, increasing by an average of 7% each year. By 2007, Russia was the 7th largest economy in the world in purchasing power. By 2007, Russia’s GDP had exceeded that of the Russian SFSR in 1990 which meant the country had finally overcome the consequences of the 1998 financial crisis and the recession which preceded it. Time to buy some led torches!
